3 years ago, right before my 1st live painting:
This was a competition in which I decided to be part just to overcome my fear of working in public.
We had 30 minutes to create a full piece and somehow people liked that much what I did, that I got selected for the next round to finally win the competition against other 7 artists in 2 weeks.
Before and after the last competition.
This was not about to beat this people or to receive a prize, I decided to paint live TO GET OVER MY FEAR, the same fear I felt in school when someone was too close to my table. I remember I used to cover my stuff with my left arm because they used to make me feel uncomfortable.
Today I'm not only celebrating that I feel free to paint anywhere BUT NOW I'll be doing the same at the Royal Albert Hall in London the next week!
...What were the odds?!
My conclusion about this super summarized story is: life is so crazy, wonderful and unpredictable, that you will never know what the results of a little decision like this would be.
I'm convinced today, that 3 years ago when I decided to get out of my comfort zone, my life changed completely.
I'm a better person, a better artist and a better woman now, just because I decided to stand up in front of this people in 2015.
